Alberta Parenting for the Future Association offers programs and services that address the expressed needs of parents, children, and youth. APFA actively engages them in strengthening their connections within their families and community. All programs are confidential and free for participants.

Our Programs |
Drop In Programs:
PLAY – Your Way: Unstructured play time that encourages gross motor activities and social interaction. Busy Bodies: Children practice moving their bodies through games and activities designed to enhance their gross motor development. Parent and Tot Drop In: Connects parents and children in the community. Kids socialize while adults enjoy adult-time and free coffee! Indoor Play Gym: Our indoor play gym is free and open Monday – Thursday from 9:00am – 4:00pm. Early Childhood Development Domains: Physical Health and Wellbeing: Encourages physical growth and independence, gross and fine motor skills and coordination. Social Competence: Encourages playing well with others, curiosity about the world, respect for adults and other children, following rules and instructions, independence, self-confidence, and eagerness to explore new things. Emotional Maturity: Encourages age-appropriate emotional understanding, empathy, reflection, and controlled actions. |
