Healthy Babies Program - Cold Lake (CPNP) 

Serves: ​Cold Lake, Elizabeth Metis Settlement,  Bonnyville, Lac La Biche, Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement and Kikano Metis Settlement.

Who We Are

The Healthy Babies Program helps at risk pregnant women for the duration of the pregnancy and 1 year after delivery. Clients must be pregnant to join the program and before 30 weeks.

Our Programs

​This program offers many activities so that you and your baby will be healthy before, during, and after delivery. The program provides food, nutritional supplements, nutrition counselling and education, along with a variety of supports and counselling on lifestyle issues that can affect the baby.

  • Nutritional Education and Counselling
  • Prenatal Classes
  • Milk/Fruit/Vegetable Coupon Program
  • Vitamin and Mineral Supplementation Program
  • A variety of supports and counselling on lifestyle issues that can affect the baby
