Who We Are

Here at Rimbey Neighbourhood Place Society, we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2000, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Non-Profit Organization upon: support, empowerment, and progress. Our Programs

Neighbourhood Place now has programming for families of 0-6 year olds. Although the regulations needed because of the pandemic have proved challenging, we have started offering several programs, including:

• a mail out program
• one on one parent assistance
• grow & play play group
• (Coming soon) A parent support group
• We will also be bringing in expert speakers to provide inspiration to parents on their most prevalent concerns.

​Neighbourhood Place has many things available for you! The lending library has the newest family board games and some small size out door gear for anyone to try. Neighbourhood Place continues to support the Early Child Development Coalition's Play it Forward program at the local playgrounds, making toys available for children to play with while at the park.
Our little library will be back in the spring too!  There is a computer for use as well for those that may not have a device or solid internet for things like on line counselling, or job searches.​
